I am a planner. My husband is a planner. As you can tell by this blog, we very much like plans.
We have been planning this summer's vacation – the Revolutionary War East Coast Road Trip – for YEARS. But, last night, we scrapped the 16-day Road Trip we had been planning and saving for – just tossed out the whole thing, cancelled all our reservations – and booked a 5-night cruise to the Bahamas (leaving in less than 6 weeks), instead.
It was kinda exhilarating.
