For years, we have been wanting to see Rebelution live at Red Rocks. We have never been to Red Rocks – or Colorado, at all – but the combination of Rebelution and Red Rocks just seems so right.
They play the venue every year. Every year we consider going. Every year there is some reason we have to pass – the show is on a weekday, it's too hard to arrange care for the kids, we have other plans already, there's not enough money left in the travel budget – we've come close to booking, but there's always something that stops us.
This year, when we saw it announced that Rebelution would be headlining weekend shows for the 30th Anniversary of Reggae on the Rocks, we knew this was the time to make it happen.
We crunched the numbers, called the grandparents.. and booked it! I am thrilled that we will be celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary (a month early) with this 2-night trip to Colorado in August!
