Much like the kids' As-We-Go Scrapbooks, this trip I decided I would blog as we go.
So often, when we get home from trips, I get busy trying to get caught up with the everyday-life things that were put on hold and then weeks, months or even years pass before I get around to recording our vacation in any meaningful way.
So, this time, I decided that each night, after it is lights-out for the kids, I would crack open my laptop and type up a quick recap of the day.
So far, I am really enjoying it! It is a satisfying way to fill the quiet time between the kids' bedtime and my own. (John brought his Nintendo DS and a game to beat.)
And, same as how the kids will have their finished scrapbooks at the end of the trip, I will have these posts to look back on -- already done, instead of another thing I want to do on a long list of To-Dos!
