Travel from Whitewater State Park to Minneopa State Park
After breakfast we were on the road again. Our first stop was at a quaint public park with a castle-themed playground for the kids and a short walk to "Minnesota's Only Covered Bridge."

Next up was Nerstrand Big Woods State Park for a short hike to Hidden Falls.

We had a quick stop at Minnemishinoa Falls to stretch our legs.

Then, we arrived at Minneopa State Park. We hiked down to the base of Minneopa Falls, which was the best stop of the trip, so far. Unfortunately, it was hot – in the 90s – but I really liked this spot.

Later, we drove through the Bison Conservation Range.

Then, we had the experience of our first RV tank dump – which entertained the kids – before settling in to overnight at Red Fox Campground.
