Gatlinburg, TN to Murfreesboro, TN
Today was mostly about driving. Our route took us back into the National Park for a while and we had another gorgeous and exhilarating mountain road drive.

My son needed a dose of Dramamine the last couple days but, surprisingly, I handled it just fine despite easily getting carsick my whole life. I am happy to say that our car trashcan has not been used as a sick bucket.
We drove out of the National Park and into Alcoa, TN, where we met with family for lunch and a really nice visit -- it had been several years since we had last seen them. The spot was a neat little place called Hot Rod's 50's Diner where the retro decor was fun and the food was good.
We kept on driving, had a snack and bathroom break, drove a little more, and got into Murfreesboro, TN, with enough time for dinner, some PoGO, and plenty of time at the hotel pool & hot tub before calling it a night.
